Guest Policies
Check-in 4p.m. Check-out 12p.m.
Upon check-in we require a credit card authorization to guarantee any additional charges that may occur during a guest’s stay. By providing your credit card information you are agreeing to be held liable for any damages to the property such as repair costs or smoking remediation charges by yourself or any of your guests. Rooms paid for in cash require an additional $150 safety deposit that will be returned when the rooms are inspected and deemed up to standards.
If you happen to take a liking to a piece of artwork, our “top of the line” ice buckets, or our down feather comforters please contact the office for the ability to purchase such items.
TAXES
Michigan charges a use tax of 6 percent on overnight room rentals;
SMOKING POLICY
Eddy’s Motel is proud to be a non-smoking in-room property. We thank you in advance for using smoking products responsibly outside at your leisure. If your room smells like smoke, regardless of the reason, or who may have caused the smell, you will be charged a $250 smoking fee per day. Evidence of someone smoking is not required. It is your responsibility as the card holder, to be certain the room does not have a smoke odor, as determined by management. We understand that if a guest is charged a smoking fee, they may not return, so we go to great lengths to make sure everyone understands this policy. By law, Michigan is a non-smoking state, as it pertains to lodging facilities.
PETS
Eddy’s Motel is a dog friendly motel subject to the following guidelines Pets may not be left unattended in the motel room, they must be declared at the time the reservation is made, dogs may not exceed more than 50-60 pounds, we do not allow aggressive breeds, doggie guests must be kept on a leash in public areas and people guests must clean up after your pet. There is a $50 pet fee for stays of one or two nights and an additional $15 fee per day for reservations exceeding two days. Guests that do not comply with our policies may be asked to leave and no refunds will be provided. All reservations which include dogs must book directly with our Team. In the event that a dog is not declared at the time of check-in, there is $75 fee in addition to the pet fee.
ALCOHOL
Consumption of alcohol is permitted on the property; however, if you’d like to have a beverage outdoors, please keep glass to a minimum. Plastic cups are available.
CHILDREN
We welcome children under the age of 1 years old as our special guests. They must be under adult supervision at all time as we are an adult Motel. You are responsible for damage that might occur from the unrestrained natural enthusiasm and energy of the children.

We do not allow drugs, illegal activity or violence or the preparations/thought of illegal activities. We abide by the East Jordan Noise Ordinance strictly and will hold guests accountable. Signing this means you agree to abide by the policies of Eddy’s Motel as well as East Jordan’s local laws. Breaking any policies and/or laws will result in immediate eviction off the premises without refund. We strive to make your stay phenomenal and better than any other motel/hotel
